Getting there...

There only 43 days left before the start of the Olympics games. I'm so excited! So you may be wondering how I ended up going to Vancouver. I was able to fulfil one of my dreams earlier this year, cruising to Alaska. With a 2-out-of-3 vote to leave from Vancouver rather than Seattle, we headed off to Canada to start our journey. It was a super-quick tour of Vancouver in a day and a half before setting sail. Of course this isn't enough time to see one city, especially Vancouver. We were fortunate to have perfect weather to trek across the city to see as much as we can. The city was already abuzz about the Olympics and I decided I would like to go back. Thanks to Facebook, it took about 10 minutes to find some friends that had already rented a condo and were all set for the big event. They were kind enough to let me tag along, so here I am, waiting for my exciting adventure. If you have questions or topic suggestions, please let me know. I'll be writing much more as the Games approach.

Hello!

Welcome to my blog. I'm a freelance writer headed to Vancouver for the 2010 Olympics. I'll be at the Games from the Feb. 20-28 and will record thoughts about the city, the Games, and everything that's going on. I hope you'll join me on my adventure. More to come.
